So How Much Does All of This Cost?

Well, you will be pleasantly surprised.

Many EA developers charge $50-$100 per hour.

At the end of the day you get your EA and both of you part ways.

There is no support except for the initial up and running support as it’s popularly known. No extensive testing, no forward testing, no VPS testing and absolutely no marketing help.

If you launch your product and go public you get no help from the developer to support your clients.

YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN.

Not so with me. You get 100% support even after you launch your EA to the world. That's my promise to you.

My charges are as follows:

Typical EA Costs

So what does a typical EA/Indicator/Script cost?

Let's assume we have an EA that places trades using a simple MA Crossover. Let's also assume that this EA has basic money management built in. An EA of this nature will typically take 3 hours to develop and 2 hours to test. A total of 5 hours of effort. Going by the chart above, the cost can be broken down as follows:

Development Cost:$60 * 5 = $300

Let's assume you now require user validation to be handled by me. You sell 50 copies of this EA and each user requires 1 demo and 1 live account validation. This is a total of 100 validations and will cost $100.

This is only if you require me to perform the validation for you. If you opt to do the validation yourself, the cost will be zero.

Let's now assume that you go for the platinum package and market this EA for $100 per sale. If you require us to do your marketing, hosting, etc., my charges for setting all this up is 5% of the sale price. This amounts to $5.00 per sale.

There will be other costs associated with marketing and hosting which you will have to factor into your final sales price. As you can see, for a small take in the sales price you have a worry-free option to market and host your EA thus making it 100% de-compilation proof.

Using this example I hope it becomes clear that the final cost is up to you and is totally in your control.

You can pay as little as $300 for a fully developed and tested EA ready to be marketed by you or you can get additional services for a small outlay.

The important thing to realize is that the choice is in your hands. You have total control.

A comprehensive quote for the development of the EA before any work is commenced. If it takes longer than the quoted cost it will be done at the agreed cost, no more. If I complete it sooner, the difference will be refunded. That’s my promise to you.	FREE
Development work will be done in a timely manner and periodic builds will be handed over for unit testing. This way you can test specific functionalities before the completion of the EA. For example you can test the entry/exit criteria although the money management parts have not been completed yet. This method of testing reduces the TTM (Time To Market) of your EA.	All development work will be done on a per hour basis. The charge will be AUD$60.00 per hour.
Full support will be provided free of charge to you in getting started with your new EA. Getting you up and running with your new EA will be my first priority. This will be done free of charge.	FREE
Support for all EAs developed by me. Unlike other developers out there, I can provide full support to your clients in the event you market your EA through me. You have a choice of two support levels: first level and second level. With first level support I will provide support directly to your clients using a specific email address monitored by me. Second level support means that in the event support is required, the client contacts you and you only forward the issue to me if you cannot provide a solution directly.	Installation and general support queries will be AUS$2.50 per email (capped at AUD$5.00 per case). Skype based support will be AUD$30 per half billed in 10 minute increments.
In-built per user per account security can be provided based on a standard in-house algorithm, should you decide to market the EA outside of a VPS. The cost of building this into your EA will be part of the ongoing development cost.	As per standard development charges.
EA user validation can either be done by yourself (I will show you how to do this step by step) or I can do this completely transparent to you.	FREE if done yourself. $1.00 per account validation (Demo or Live) if done by us.
Version updates with bug fixes are completely free of charge.	FREE
Version updates with added features are provided at a nominal cost.	AUD$ 25.00 per hour.
VPS level testing. If required I can set up your EA behind our VPS and provide 24 hour forward testing, which will reduce the number of bugs when the product is launched. This level of testing ensures over 96% reliability of the final product. All VPS logs and results will be forwarded to you on a weekly basis.	AUD$ 35.00 for 2 weeks of testing.
Marketing your EA, should you choose to launch it as a commercial product. Backed by one of the leading brokerage houses and their marketing arm, we can arrange for your product to be marketed. So you won’t have to do anything to get an additional income stream.	N/A	5% of the sale of each EA. If the EA is leased and incurs a monthly charge the cost will be 5% of that monthly charge each month. Please note that marketing charges are separate and will have to be negotiated with the brokerage house’s marketing division. This is my charge for working with the brokerage house and providing premium ongoing service for your EA.
Lease of EA behind a VPS - This will ensure your EA won’t be stripped of all security and end up in a public forum or on eBay. This is the number one revenue loss for all EA vendors. The EA can be leased as a one off payment followed by VPS cost or as a monthly payment which includes the VPS cost. This way you get two benefits: a monthly payment and a secured EA.
